The MX Committee is very concerned about the future of your district. We believe we can make some necessary changes in our district but only if we can get your help. We need your support. We currently have a proposal with the D-13 Board of Directors (promoters) that will make what we believe some necessary changes to help both the competition and the promoters of D-13. We are currently proposing less races and a shorter season. We believe that fewer races will help increase the total number of riders that show up at an event. This will increase the competition level. We don't believe we are going to see any drastic growth in the District in the next couple of years with the economy the way it is. The MX Committee's thoughts are that the D-13 tracks can make about the same amount of revenue by working less often. For some, fewer races would not change how much you travel to races but for others it could make a Championship more attainable. The MX Committee would like your input on what you feel could make D-13 better for you or better as a whole. Please feel free to drop an e-mail to MXCRZY@cox.net. The Offices of the D-13 MX Committee are open for elections this year. If you would like to run for an office have a D-13 member in good standing nominate you. The offices open for election are: Chairman, Secretary and Treasuruer. Nominations should be turned in to the D-13 Board of Directors no later than August 31, 2010.
